The journey of Luke Falk—from overlooked athlete to record-breaking quarterback, and now helping others perform under pressure.
Walked on for Coach Mike Leach at Washington State University after receiving limited opportunities to play at the Division I level. Arrived on campus as the fifth-string quarterback and earned a scholarship within his first year.
Falk made his first career start as a redshirt freshman and was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after completing 44/61 passes for 471 yards and 5 touchdowns while leading a fourth-quarter comeback victory. It was the first of 40 career starts at Washington State.
As Washington State's starting quarterback, Luke became the Pac-12's all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns while helping lead one of the nation's most productive offenses. During his career, he was named the 2017 Burlsworth Trophy winner, awarded annually to the nation's most outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on.
Selected by the Tennessee Titans in the 2018 NFL Draft, Luke went on to spend time with the Tennessee Titans, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets organizations. During his NFL career, he had the opportunity to play on Monday Night Football and start against Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

After his playing career, Luke transitioned into college coaching, making stops at Wingate University and the University of Northern Iowa. When family priorities brought him back home, he shifted his focus from coaching football to coaching the one thing he had seen impact performance at every level of competition: the mind.
Drawing from his experiences as a walk-on, record-setting quarterback, NFL player, and college coach, Luke founded the Mind Strength movement and authored The Mind Strength Playbook. Today, he works with athletes, coaches, athletic departments, business leaders, and organizations through speaking engagements, coaching, and training programs focused on performance, leadership, and personal development.

Coached the SAC Freshman of the Year and a National Player of the Week while helping develop quarterbacks and leaders on and off the field.

In his second year of coaching, Luke earned the opportunity to become the Offensive Coordinator at Northern Iowa. Following spring football, he stepped away from coaching to return home and help with family priorities in Utah.

Founded Falk Mind Strength Coaching LLC and now leads a growing national Mind Strength movement, helping athletes, coaches, leaders, and organizations build confidence, resilience, and performance under pressure through his programs, writing, and speaking.
